...the sustainable products from Exotirleben.de
Everything is different at the moment and our lives have changed a lot. We're spending more time at home, whether that's because we're working from home or we're simply spending more of our free time at home. I've always been a "homebody" and that's why it's not that difficult for me that public life has changed due to the so-called. Lockdowns have restricted. And right now it is important to create a beautiful environment. Often it's enough to rearrange furniture or treat yourself to something new here and there. It is particularly important to me to surround myself with beautiful things. Since we are very close to nature, I love furniture made from natural materials such as wood. We were due for a new side table, but unfortunately it didn't really suit my taste until I came across the Exotierleben website.
Information about the company
Exotirleben is a company based in Stuttgart that specializes in special types of furniture. The owner Martin Bressmer wanted to bring customers closer to a world of furniture that is characterized by exclusivity and sustainability, but still remains fairly priced. The focus here is particularly on furniture made from bamboo and root wood.
The online shop
The shop is well structured and offers the buyer not only a lot of information about the products, but also a large selection of furniture and table lamps. The individual categories are clear and easy to find your way around.
In addition to the categories "canopy bed", "bamboo bed", "bamboo furniture" and "wooden lamps" you can also find "burl wood furniture" here. And the “Sale” category is particularly interesting for bargain hunters.
My selection
This root wood coffee table is striking due to the unusual shape of the base. This consists of teak roots that have been designed into a large whole using high craftsmanship. Small imperfections such as cracks, holes, etc.give this table a very special charm.
The whole thing is rounded off by a glass plate that is attached to the wood using plastic fixers.
In this way, not only eye-catchers are created, but also unique pieces that enrich every room.
Key data

Glass plate size: 60 cm diameter

The products and sustainability
Both my Root table as well as other products from Exotierleben are characterized by sustainability. For example, the wood for my table comes from plantations and suppliers that have certification. The responsible use of nature and resources are important cornerstones of the company, which are also reflected in my table.
For example, driftwood is also used to create unusual pieces of furniture. This is how new exotic pieces of furniture are created from “old” raw materials!
I can only recommend that you take a look yourself, then you will definitely find a piece of furniture that will appeal to you directly. I myself will probably order one of the teak columns that I fell in love with in the near future.
Conclusion
I don't just love this burl wood table because it's like me and has its rough edges, it's simply a real eye-catcher. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Martin Bressmer for the wonderful table and the good collaboration.
